Retailers have set up e-commerce shops that transact through Facebook and Instagram. Well-known brands use targeted advertising to reach their market. There are even certain businesses that operate exclusively through social media. Resellers, service providers, and even some manufacturers conduct their businesses on social networks, introducing and spreading awareness of their company profiles, creating a brand and steadily increasing its value, promoting their product lines, building and interacting with a network of customers and clients, and ultimately, cashing in on profits from online transactions.
