TalkShop clients share their learning experiences from workshops in speech, writing, leadership, and personality development.

I find the part when we were supposed to write letters interesting especially when we wrote letters of complaint. We also discussed using the correct verb tenses and consistency. I always like an interactive class and Ms. Cecile Matulac definitely injected this into today’s lesson.

Today’s TalkShop Session was about writing letters of complaint, letters of condolences, and memorandums. It was very interesting and stimulating. I now know how to address specific scenarios through letter writing.

Today, I have learned from Ms. Cecile Matulac of TalkShop about the techniques in business writing. She discussed the points to consider in writing a response to a complaint. I appreciate how she gave her advice on our work and how she corrected our grammatical errors. These made me aware of my mistakes so I may improve.

I just joined the team today in the TalkShop Communication Training replacing a person who unfortunately could not continue the program. I learned so many things about grammar and business writing tips and techniques. I am definitely looking forward to more learnings.

We’re glad that Ma’am Cecile Matulac of TalkShop discussed more about grammar in the session. She also taught us how to write a complaint, answer a complaint, compose a memo, and know some basic challenges and errors in business writing. Thanks to Ma’am Ces, she definitely hones my business writing skills.

The TalkShop Training is very informative. It is nice to have a refresher lesson about grammar. It practiced me more on business writing and it got me more knowledgeable in specific purposes of certain letters. Knowing these things make me more credible in my interactions.

Today I learned about writing a complaint and answering complaints politely with TalkShop. We practiced using the sandwich framework. I was also able to write my own memo. We also had time to review tenses and most incorrectly use words like “continuous” and “hope.” We were able to have an oral email exercise that taught us to handle grievance. Because of this, I can be better writing my responses.
