Ernesto R. Tagle is a world-renown national painter in the Philippines and was featured in Asiaweek Magazine as “Manila’s Most Prolific Painter” as his paintings sold for over $200,000 a canvass.

He is also known as the first and only painter to be publicly recognized by President Ninoy Aquino as a proclamation was signed for the annual celebration of “Positive Thinking Week” to coincide with E.R. Tagle’s birthday.

He founded the “Positive Artist Group” which is committed to helping young artists and promoting rich Filipino heritage through their paintings. He also held a one-man exhibit at Museo ng Makati sponsored by City of Makati, Cultural Affairs.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Santo Thomas, he became an art professor at FEATI University and member of the Collage of Architecture & Fine Arts National Press Club.

As a national painter, E.R. Tagle continues to share his passion and love for the Philippines through great works of art that portray nationalism and shares his knowledge on art with aspiring painters and fellow artists.
