A Letter from a Student

TalkShop studentFirst of all, thank you everyone for coming to this wonderful celebration.  Today, I would like to share some experiences and lessons that I’ve encountered here at TalkShop. At first, honestly, I was kind of bored to be enrolled in an enhancement program like this. Why? Because at first, I thought that this program will just be like a normal class (I mean something that might bore me) but as time passed, I began to appreciate this program and started to enjoy every moment with our other classmates like Roze and Alizon, and of course with our teachers like Sir Robert and Mrs. Menchie. From Sir Robert, I learned about developing myself physically and mentally. One example is in how I should properly seat, stand and walk. And from Mrs. Menchie, I learned about the different aspects of communication: such as gestures, ice breakers and how to start a conversation in the proper way.

Lastly, thank you to all the teachers of TalkShop. As a student, it’s my obligation to learn something from my teachers.  I learned many things from TalkShop and I will apply all of them in my everyday life. That’s my take, thank you for listening.
