Do your research and list down likely questions to come up with your best answers. There are few lines to master that will help you ace the interview. Sheila Viesca, TalkShop CEO advises, “It is a matter of coming up with your personal success stories, and framing these to position yourself as the person best suited for the job. Remember to limit your personal stories to 2 minutes.

Viesca shares tips on how best answer interview questions:

1. “Tell me about yourself.”
After a brief introduction, your story should dwell on your values and how these will relate to the job.

2. “Why are you interested in the company? In the position?”
Say you are interested in the company because of its products, services, and reputation. Elaborate on your experiences with products and services, if any. Veer into the industry opportunities to which you can add value.

3. “What is your greatest weakness?”
Be truthful in your answer without magnifying any personality flaw. One way to answer is to choose a technical skill that will have the least application to the position you are applying for.

4. “Why are you leaving your job? What don’t you like about your boss?”
Keep your answer neutral. Do not badmouth your boss or workplace. Be honest. Say that while you are grateful for the education and experience acquired, it is time to look for more challenging work or an opportunity for a better fit. Articulate about where and how you can make contributions to the company.

5. “What are you looking for in a job?”
Emphasize opportunities. State your willingness to perform and contribute. Say you are excited about this job and how you can add value to the position you will fill.

Viesca adds, “In preparing your own success stories, be specific and adopt the right sequence as one would in problem solving. Identify the situation. Present the task or challenge. Inform about the action taken, and discuss results.”
