A person’s First Prime covers the years until the age of 50. One’s Second Prime is the age 51 onwards. This period in one’s life should not be a downhill journey, to negate a common misconception. It opens a new path to shine and make the Second Prime the best time of one’s life. TalkShop, the leading training center for Personal Effectiveness introduces this revolutionary seminar that debunks the myths of aging and empowers seniors to exercise their purpose, while doing work because they want to do it.

Those we refer to as Baby Boomers, people born in the late 40s and early 60s, who have by now left the corporate world, make up the huge senior population worldwide. They have become the focus of a marketing strategies companies invest in to design products. Seniors are no longer the silent minority. With their experience and savvy, they now have a strong voice, and their opinion matters significantly.

The key is to grow old, not to get old. As one advances in age, that person should continue to grow and learn. Seniors should discover new passions, ideas, and friendships. What the world needs are active seniors who get involved and not hide in the cocoon of their comfort zone. They should be up-to-date with new technology and discoveries. A most valuable advice is to Refire, not Retire.

The question to ask a senior is “How are you Old?” It suggests how useful, productive, or healthy one is. Seniorhood is the time to enjoy life without regrets. The image of seniors relegated to rocking chairs is a thing of the past. Today, seniors have the tremendous power to change the world.
