Why Speak English?

TalkShopCommunication Excellence is a fundamental skill everyone can possess through effective training, guided application, and practice of the English language. TalkShop points out the three main reasons that makes the English language a clear necessity for excellent communication:

1. In the corporate world, the dominant language is English. This means it is important for corporate professionals aspiring to attain international level of competence to master the English language as they interact with their colleagues, customers and counterparts from around the globe.

2. As the global standard of communication, English has become an integral medium in movies, books, music, and other forms of entertainment, not to mention literature. Understanding the world through mass media and the internet also requires a reasonable grasp of the English language.

3. Based on a 2012 survey by Global English Corporation, Philippines ranks number 1 in Business English Index (BEI), the only index that measures business English proficiency in the workplace, beating 75 other countries including the United States and the United Kingdom. For many investors, travelers, and foreign students, the Philippines has become the best training ground not only for learning but also for conducting business in English.

The tools, environment, and resources for learning English are all in the Philippines. All we have to do is use them by practicing the language.
